School Closure: Covid-19
Due to the rapidly changing situation regarding the Covid-19 virus, Northmount's physical facility is currently closed. Please continue reading for a statement from our Headmaster, Dr. Sheridan: Dear Northmount Parents, I hope this message finds all of our families mentally, physically and spiritually healthy and safe. Though I am sure we are all experiencing a sense of “cabin fever”, our efforts to social distance and flatten the COVID curve have helped provide optimism that we are heading in the right direction. On behalf of the Northmount community, I want to thank all of the First Responders and Frontline Workers in our community who have helped all of us navigate through these unprecedented times. I am also thankful for all of the families in our community for their support of Northmount, especially over the past seven weeks. Though this pandemic has not been easy on anyone, and harder on some than others, it is my hope that families have taken this time and spent it together in order to strengthen bonds and truly reflect on what is important.
The Knight's Basketball Team are having a fantastic season so far with back to back victories last week. They are hoping for further strong performances under the leadership of Team Captain Sachin and our terrific coaches Mr. Douglas and Mr. Kurek. Go Knights Go!

Thank You Wednesday!
We were truly humbled by the incredibly generous support that we received from yesterday's Giving Tuesday fundraiser, towards our annual campaign. Parents from the Annual Fund Committee, along with staff, handed out coffee and doghnuts at this morning's drop-off as a small token of our gratitude and appreciation. We are truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful community.
After Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, now is the chance to give back! As Northmount strives to educate our young men, with Christian virtues at our core, we welcome your support. Thank you in advance! Northmount- Toronto's Only Independent Catholic Boys' Elementary School (JK-8). To donate please go to http://weblink.donorperfect.com/nms_gtuesday

Our Kids Fair
One of the best ways to learn about Northmount School is from the boys themselves. This year, four of the Grade 8 class gave up their Saturday to come and help promote the school at the annual Our Kids Fair. Missed us? No problem! Please contact us to arrange a personal tour, or sign up to one of our upcoming Open House events.
Each student of Northmount is proud to be a member of one of our four houses; Fox, Banting, Orr, and Vanier. Each year we hold a ceremony to induct the new students to their house. As they are knighted by the House Master, they pledge to be, "A true frined, worth opponent, strong in deeds, and a Saint in God's service".
At the start of each Fall term, we reconnect with old friends, and build relationships with new ones. Our outdoor education trips are a terrific opportunity to facilitate this. The Grade 4-6 enjoyed two nights at Pioneer Camp while Grade 7 and 8 spent the week in Algonquin...
