COVID-19 School Re-Opening Plan
Northmount School for Boys Re-opening, September 8th, 2020 Introduction: The following document identifies policies and procedures for Northmount School for Boys, which are intended to keep all of students, faculty, staff, volunteers, visitors and families as safe as possible as we re-open schools during the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to get to this point, there has been a lot of hard work done by our families and the broader community to adhere to the government restrictions that have been a part of our reality for the past several months. It is equally important to note that all of this hard work will be for naught if we do not continue to socially distance, remain faithful to our social bubbles and take every precaution to stay healthy and safe. With the help of parents, faculty, staff and administration, the policies and procedures contained in this document are a community effort with the sole intention of keeping us all safe. As such, the following pages reflect the guidelines and health and safety protocols that have been highlighted by government and health officials. Due to the nature of COVID-19, this School Re-Opening Plan can be considered a working document that can be adjusted as needed. As such, it is hoped that this plan provides a common sense approach to the re-opening of Northmount School for Boys.
