A Message from the Head Boy

Northmount is the school I’ve been at since Grade 1, and one I am so proud of. I asked my parents once, “Of all the schools, why Northmount?” They said there wasn’t a need for a choice at all. The option of Northmount was obvious because of all that it offered in academics, faith development and co-curriculars, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it. Northmount has given me everything I need to prepare for the future: the work ethic, faith, athletics and academics, leadership opportunities, and hundreds of more things that have so truly impacted my life.

Because of this, I am excited to give back to the school any chance I get. That’s why I am so thankful for being elected Head Boy. This year I hope to do as much as I can for the school, any way I can. I aim to do this by perfecting the little things, like getting equipment for recess, maybe starting new clubs, and most importantly getting things a lot like they used to be before COVID. I aim to get House Games back, as well as celebrations, like Big Brother-Little Brother, in order to have more interactions between the older and younger grades.

I have been at Northmount my whole life, and it’s hard to believe this is the last year.

The time I’ve spent here has been unforgettable. Northmount has helped shape me into the young man I am, and for that I will always be grateful.

Sincerely,

Mau S.
