Keith McLean

Keith McLean has worked in the Canadian fund management business for over 20 years and is currently the President and Chief Investment Officer of Sphere Investment Management Inc. Sphere Investments is the provider of an integrated wealth management solution based on Exchange Traded Funds. Prior to Sphere, Keith was a Managing Director and Partner of GMP Investment Management, where he was responsible for the positioning of the firm’s equity portfolios. Previously, Keith worked for Investors Group Investment Management, McLean Budden Limited and the New Brunswick Investment Management Corporation. Keith was awarded his Charter Financial Analyst designation in 1996, graduated with an MBA in Finance from Dalhousie University in 1993 and received a BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1991. He has been actively involved with Northmount School since 2006 and a member of the Board of Governors since 2009. Keith and his wife, Susan, have two sons, one a graduate of Northmount (2014) and the other a current student.

Daniel Stronach

Daniel Stronach, president of Stronach Financial Group Inc., is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with extensive experience in personal financial planning – particularly for Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers and Senior Executives. A graduate of Economics from McMaster University, he is also a Registered Financial Planner (RFP) with the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners (IAFP). He has been a practicing Financial Planner since 1983 with experience on the brokerage side as well as a Manager of Financial Planning at one of Canada’s leading trust companies. Daniel formed Stronach Financial Group Inc. in 1993 to provide his clients with objective and insightful financial advice and a highly personalized approach to individual plan design and management. Daniel is a regular contributor to The Globe & Mail and the National Post and has contributed articles to Canadian Doctor and Ontario Dentist. He has been actively involved with Northmount School since and a member of the Board of Governors since 2005. Daniel and his wife Susan had two boys attend and graduate from Northmount School.

Sean Bayley

Sean Bayley has been working in the hospitality industry for over 30 years. He co-founded FAB Restaurant Concepts in 2000, an independent restaurant ownership and management organization which owns and operates 16 restaurants in the GTA and Ottawa. His restaurant organization believes in giving back to their communities and donates to various community based charities every year. He has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce, from the University of Guelph, specializing in Hotel and Food Management.
Sean and his wife Jane have been actively involved in Northmount since 2008, with various fundraising activities including participating in the annual Northmount Gala every year. He has been a Board member since 2013. Sean and Jane’s son, Oliver has attended Northmount since junior kindergarten.

Michael Duffy

Michael Duffy has worked for over forty years in the executive recruiting business in Toronto with Pathfinder Personnel Limited. Beginning in 2013, Michael has expanded his career with Clear Blue Sorbents, an oil spill recovery and ground water remediation company with a plant in Ontario and soon to be expanding to the East Coast. Over the course of his third sector career, he has served as Grand Knight of the North York Knights of Columbus (Council 4393), President of the St. Michaels’ College School Alumni Association (1977-1979, 1991-1995), President of the St. Michaels’ College School Building Fund (1993-2001), as well as a Member of the Red Blazer Fundraising Committee (2002-2011) and a Member of the Board of Governors (2005-2011) for St. Clements’s School. In 1997, Michael was inducted into the Order of St. Michael, St. Michael’s College School’s highest honour. Michael has been a member of Northmount’s Board since 2011.

Gerard McCabe

Gerard McCabe graduated from the University of Ulster (Belfast, Ireland) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantity Surveying and has practiced in Canada since 1987. Gerard was a founding partner of cm2r and led the merger of cm2r with Turner & Townsend in 2010. Gerard has over 30 years of experience specializing in Budget Control & Cost Planning and Project Management. Gerard has experience in a number of construction industry sectors including healthcare, education, residential, infrastructure, transportation, and both provincial and federal government. Gerard is the Managing Director of the Turner & Townsend Canadian operations based in Toronto, he is responsible for Business Development and the overall management of the Americas Regional Board. Gerard has published a Best Practice paper on construction cost, project management and procurement for Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and has contributed to a Market Trends and Construction Industry Capacity study for Infrastructure Ontario. Gerard currently sits on the Membership and Accreditation Assessment Committee for the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (North America).
Gerard has served on the Board of Govenors since 2014 and he and his wife, Elke, have two sons, both of whom graduated from Northmount in 2009 and 2012 respectively.
